We're practising this Saturday to get ready and set for the beast of an EP being recorded on the 25th!

As of now the tracklist is Better You, Hostage and Kestrel (in no order like)

Well you've finally got a date set for the ep wahey! Can't wait to hear it, and i think i should be receiving a free copy seeing as i'm the girlfriend of ur drummer (also known as ben for those of you who don't know lol) :p

A break, a vacation, a breather....

Call it whatever you want it was a known fact Mainstream hafn't been doing out for a while.

Well I'm happy to report the break is officially over when we had our first band practise in AGES today and wrote two new songs:

Hostage - A funky/blues amusing song about a hostage who actually had fun being held captive and so goes into the world of crime themselves

Kestrel - A quite psychadelic sounding tune which is made up of fast bass and guitar riffs and improvised voice.

Added to "Better You", those three tunes are confirmed to be going on Mainstream's demo, which will be recorded on either the 18th or 25th February, depending on which date is more convenient for the band.

:D We're back! And I couldn't be more chuffed!! My guess is that the lads feel the same aswell!

Keep your ears and eyes open!

Btw this originally was an unfinished track penned about 9 months ago and we just forgot about it.

I'm just finishing the song now and so it'll probably be on the Mainstream EP "Every Woman Hear The Horses" hopefully being recorded at the end of this month :)
